Can I fly while pregnant?
Though air travel during pregnancy is generally allowed, most airlines have restrictions for individuals in late pregnancy.
More specifically:
- After the 28th week of pregnancy, a letter from a doctor or midwife should accompany the traveler, which confirms the expected date of delivery and that the pregnancy is progressing normally.
- For single pregnancies, flying is permitted until the end of the 36th week.
- For multiple pregnancies, flying is permitted until the end of the 32nd week.
